Sonia completed her Veterinary Degree in 1997, and earned her PhD in 2001, from the University of Perugia, Italy.
With nearly 30 years of experience in assisted reproductive technology, Sonia has built a diverse career, spanning veterinary medicine, animal IVF research, human embryology, and clinical application science. This unique combination of scientific expertise and practical clinical knowledge enables her to bring a global perspective to clinical education, laboratory best practice, and the advancement of reproductive outcomes.
Sonia is passionate about translating complex scientific concepts into practical, evidence-based solutions that enhance laboratory performance, support clinical decision-making, and ultimately improve patient care. Through her work at CooperSurgical, her key focus is to partner with fertility clinics across Australia and New Zealand to deliver education, technical support, and collaborative learning opportunities.
