Holly joined The Cooper Companies as Executive Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer in June 2018. She was named President of CooperSurgical in July 2020. Prior to joining Cooper, Holly had over 20 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on medical equipment and technology. From 2009 to 2018 she was a Managing Director, Global Head of Medical Technology at UBS Securities. Holly was at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette from 1997-2000 until it was acquired by Credit Suisse where she stayed on until 2009. Holly graduated from Cornell University with a BS and obtained an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Even though Kerry didn’t officially join CooperSurgical until 1998 as Vice President of Engineering, he had a hand in the business since 1995. In fact, Kerry was responsible for the development of the RUMI system, a device that CooperSurgical purchased that year and is still sold today. Since 2001, Kerry has overseen all CooperSurgical’s global operations, including factory integration of acquired companies and technologies. During his career, Kerry has managed the development of several groundbreaking devices, such as the world’s first TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) for General Aviation and even patented the first commercially available “Digital Colposcope” product. He has an undergraduate degree in Industrial Technology from Berry College and graduated with honors from the University of Kansas with a BSEE in Electrical Engineering.

John joined CooperSurgical in March 2018 working primarily on integration and other finance related projects. In November 2018, John was named Executive Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining CooperSurgical, John spent 20 years in the medical device industry in various finance and operational roles including 18 years at CooperVision when they grew from $25 million to $1 billion in revenue. From 2003-2009, John was Chief Financial Officer at CooperVision and provided leadership as the company transitioned through several system implementations and integrations. He built an international finance team across 20 different countries. His team provided both financial reporting and supported operations with key data and metrics to run the business. More recently, he was CFO of a private medical device company and played a key role in selling the company in 2017. John has a BS in Accounting from St. John Fisher College in Pittsford, NY and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Kim joined CooperCompanies in 2018 as Senior Counsel supporting CooperVision. In early 2020 she transitioned to support CooperCompanies, CooperVision, and CooperSurgical as Senior Counsel for Labor and Employment, and in 2021 was named Assistant General Counsel for CooperSurgical. Kim has spent the majority of her legal career in the healthcare industry, working with global pharma and medical device companies and on the payor side for Blue Cross Blue Shield. In addition to her JD degree, she has a BS and MS in biochemistry, where she worked primarily in vaccine development. She also has certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has held several global HR-related positions.

Mark joined CooperSurgical in January 2018 as Executive Vice President of Sales, Americas. In May of 2018 he was named President, Global Medical Devices. In February of 2022 he was named Chief Commercial Officer, CooperSurgical. Mark is a leader with general management P&L skills, core competencies in sales & marketing and has experience managing both large public and private equity medical device enterprises. He has a demonstrated track record of growing revenue and income through the development of business strategies with a focus on building strong customer centric teams that drive results. Prior to joining CooperSurgical, he spent 21 years in various commercial leadership positions at multiple Johnson & Johnson companies including Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Cordis Endovascular. After leaving there, Mark accomplished two global private equity turnarounds in commercial leadership positions. He has a BS in Business from Providence College.

Lisa joined CooperSurgical as the EVP of Strategy & New Market Development June 2022. Her responsibilities include strategic development of the business, medical affairs, corporate branding and the PMO office. Prior to Lisa joining CSI she was the Vice President of Corporate Marketing, Communications & ESG (environmental, social, governance) at the CooperCompanies where she was responsible for Cooper’s corporate responsibility strategy and reporting, along with key corporate affairs initiatives. Lisa was previously at The HydraFacial Company as their Chief Marketing Officer. However, Lisa is no stranger to the optical medical device industry. She has held various senior positions in Global Marketing, Regional Marketing at CooperVision and Bausch & Lomb and began her career in sales. Lisa has her BS in Business from University of Buffalo, Buffalo, NY.

Charles joined CooperSurgical in April 2010 working in fertility operations. During his career at CooperSurgical, Charles has held leadership positions in our genomics, services, and R&D organizations. In November 2021, Charles was named Senior Vice President of Quality, Regulatory, and Life Science. Prior to joining CooperSurgical, Charles worked for US Health and Human Services at the National Institutes of Health Internal Research Program in Bethesda Maryland. Charles has a BS in Biology from Texas A&M University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland.

Marc Gelnett is the Sr. Vice President of Operations and Innovation where he leads five areas to support our strategic growth: R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Facilities & Real Estate, and Distribution & Logistics. Marc joined CooperSurgical as part of an acquisition in 2006. Since then, he has transitioned from leading product and partnership development at the acquired company to leading Operations and holding successively larger roles within each of his five departments. Prior to CooperSurgical, Marc played an integral role at a medical device startup that successfully commercialized and sold its core product, Visualase. Marc is committed to innovative development, both in products and in processes that will better serve our customers.

Willie S. Grant has 25+ years of global Human Resources experience across multiple industries and cultures. He has a proven track record in HR strategy development, driving organizational performance and building and leading globally diverse teams.
Mr. Grant is Global Head, Human Resources, for CooperSurgical where he leads strategic Human Resources efforts across the global CooperSurgical business.
Prior to joining CooperSurgical, Mr. Grant spent 4 years at Bristol Myers Squibb, a $32 billion-dollar leader in biopharma where he led strategic Human Resources efforts across nine global corporate functions.
Before joining Bristol Myers Squibb, Mr. Grant spent 12 years at Mead Johnson Nutrition, a $4 billion-dollar leader in infant nutrition, in roles of increasing responsibility working both domestically and internationally. Additionally, Mr. Grant worked in regional and global HR leadership roles for multinational companies including General Electric, PepsiCo and Pfizer.
He obtained his Master’s degree in Industrial Labor Relations and Human Resources from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of Buffalo in New York.
In addition to his professional work experience, Mr. Grant served on the Conference Executive Board Asia Leadership Council; the Board of Directors for the National Association of African American Human Resources Professionals (NAAAHR) Atlanta Chapter; is a current member of the NAAAHR New Jersey Chapter, he previously served on the Board of Directors for the Joshua Academy Charter School in Evansville, Indiana. Mr. Grant has also served as an Adjunct Professor at University of Evansville in Evansville, IN.
