Rachel Chin is a highly accomplished ART specialist with more than 19 years of extensive experience in IVF laboratory leadership, quality management and embryologist training across Asia. She holds a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Biology (Cell and Molecular Biology) and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Embryology, combining strong academic excellence with deep practical expertise.
Throughout her career, Rachel has held senior leadership positions including Chief Embryologist, Laboratory Manager, and Laboratory Director at leading fertility and reproductive medicine centres across Malaysia and China. Her expertise spans IVF laboratory establishment and management, quality assurance, technical troubleshooting, operational excellence, staff development, and implementation of advanced ART techniques. From 2007 onwards, she expanded her influence throughout the region by providing specialised consultancy services to IVF centres, supporting laboratory development, process optimisation, and professional training programmes.
Rachel further strengthened her industry impact through her role as Asia Clinical and Technical Support Manager at LifeGlobal LLC before progressing to Senior Clinical Application Manager at CooperSurgical Fertility and Genomic Solutions, APAC region. Recognised for her strong passion for IVF laboratory quality management and best practice implementation, she is known for driving operational excellence while advancing clinical and laboratory standards. Her multilingual proficiency in English, Malay, Mandarin, and Cantonese enables her to collaborate effectively across diverse international healthcare environments.
