Revisiting pH in ART

Revisiting pH in ART

The parameters we use for controlling and monitoring in the ART laboratory aim to mimic physiological conditions. It is important to appreciate their inter-dependency, and that directly altering one will indirectly impact another. pH is of key importance in our culture systems and is impacted by the media buffer composition and concentration, CO2 levels, and temperature.

It is vital that we are able to confirm that our culture conditions produce the desired pH in our culture dishes. This webinar will introduce participants to the importance of controlling pH in their culture systems, how to implement direct pH testing, and where in their practice pH levels may be impacted and the downstream effects of this.
