Carter-Thomason® CloseSure System
The Carter-Thomason CloseSure System® is single-use port site closure system that combines a handheld suture passer with dedicated pilot guides to support consistent fascial closure of trocar defects. It is used by surgeons in a variety of laparoscopic procedures and is suitable for patients ranging from average to obese and bariatric patients. This enables surgeons to close trocar sites efficiently and reliably helping to achieve a full-thickness, facial closure while maintaining pneumoperitoneum.

Carter-Thomason® II Port Closure System
The Carter-Thomason® II Port Closure System is the second-generation design. It retains the core Carter-Thomason concept—a handheld suture passer working together with dedicated suture guides while incorporating numerous system advancements; enhanced safety, reproducibility and efficiency.
These suture guides are designed to follow the trocar tract and help align the suture passer with the port-site defect, supporting full-thickness closure across a range of trocar sizes commonly used in minimally invasive procedures.
The Carter-Thomason suture passer is a sterile, single-use, handheld suture-grasping device designed to pass suture through soft tissue. It is intended for use in passing suture through the abdominal wall during endoscopic/laparoscopic surgery and is to be used only by surgeons trained in these techniques.
