CT CloseSure™ System

The Carter-Thomason CloseSure System® is comprised of 2 components: a Pilot^® guide and a Carter-Thomason suture passer, which allow surgeons to achieve full-thickness closure of trocar wounds quickly with safety and accuracy everytime, in no time.

The Pilot^® guide is correctly angled to ensure closure through fascia, muscle, and peritoneum. The hinged jaw and sharp needle of the Carter-Thomason suture passer allow for easily duplicated and secure stitches.

Secure wound closure is achieved quickly, reliably and accurately. This results in less OR time, less time under anesthesia for the patient, less cost to the facility, and greater patient satisfaction.

The CT CloseSure™ System comes sterile with one 5 mm and one 10/12 mm pilot guide and a CT Closure™ Suture passer. 5 systems per box.

Our new 15mm Standard Size Pilot Guide will provide physicians opportunities for port site closure with both Gynecologic and General Surgery procedures that require the use of a morcellators and large specimen retrieval bags.
