Specifically designed for obese patients

The XL version of the Carter-Thomason CloseSure System® is specifically designed for obese and bariatric patients using a longer 10/12 an 15-mm Pilot^® guide and additional suture holes for more consistent results.

As with the original Carter-Thomason CloseSure System®, this system has both components, the Pilot^® guide and the Carter-Thomason suture passer, and allows surgeons to close full-thickness wounds with safety and accuracy.

The Pilot^® guide is angled to assure closure through fat, muscle, and peritoneum. The hinged jaw and sharp needle of the Carter-Thomason suture passer allows easily duplicated and secure stitches.

The system is so fast, reliable, and accurate that it cuts down on OR time and reduces the time a patient has to spend under anesthesia.
